The core belief at Startups Give Back is that philanthropy should be a top priority for businesses around the world.
It’s an amazing feeling to connect with people and organizations that share in this belief. That’s why I’m extremely excited to announce a partnership between Startups Give Back’s and Tech Gives Back.
What is Tech Gives Back you ask?
Since its founding in 2012, Tech Gives Back has been an annual charity campaign that collected donations (food, clothing, etc.) from San Francisco Bay Area tech companies for local nonprofit partners like the San Francisco Food Bank and San Francisco Goodwill.
Now, the vision for the campaign is evolving. And Startups Give Back supports it.
Tech Gives Back is evolving into a pledge tech companies take to demonstrate their commitment to actively giving back to their community and also share how they will be giving back this holiday season.
The pledge also serves as an opportunity to shed light on local nonprofits who are working hard to make a difference in the community.
Each company that takes the pledge serves as encouragement and motivation for other startups and tech folks to join the movement. And at the end of the campaign, participating companies are invited to an exclusive celebration in January.
